Next Generation Pharmaceutical Impactor (NGI)

• Trudell Medical International was part of a multi-organization consortium that designed and developed the NGI with the manufacturer (MSP Corp.) in 1998-2001 as the optimized cascade impactor for characterizing all types of inhaler.
• The NGI operates at any flow rate between 15 and 100 L/min, has low internal losses, sharp cut-point characteristics and is easy to set up and use.
• The operating size range and resolution of the NGI is similar to that of the ACI and is also used with a USP/Ph.Eur. induction port.
